The SKRILLids project is currently in discussion, exploration and early development. Here are the core principles it will follow.

1. Respect the Artist

The SKRILLids website does not publish, host, or distribute any audio files. It only links to, embeds, and organizes content that’s already publicly available. If Skrillex or his team ever request changes or removals on this site, we will listen and comply immediately.

2. Always Free for Fans

SKRILLids is to remain free to access and contribute to. Because it’s free, there are unfortunately no guarantees of uptime, completeness, or security. This is a volunteer effort maintained in good faith.

3. Built by the Community

The project is community-driven, guided by a small core team to keep it organized and transparent.

This team commits to communicating with the wider community via Reddit, Discord, and other public channels on a best-effort basis.

4. Transparency Over Perfection

Decisions, updates, and changes will always be shared as openly as possible with given time and practicality constraints. The database may contain mistakes. Corrections are welcome and encouraged.

5. Non-Commercial & Ethical

No ads, no paywalls, no resale of data.

Any code or structure created here remains open and may be reused for other non-commercial music community projects.

6. Maintained by Volunteers

SKRILLids project is maintained by a team of volunteers (Core Circle), which rotates based on need. Each member focuses on a specific area of contribution. The purpose is to coordinate and keep the project healthy in a way that represents the community and address its needs.

All updates, moderation, and data validation are done on a best-effort basis. This means:
